apparently there was a prescribed burn in a the province north of us and ALL the smoke blew down. I'm talking like you can see it inside the buildings and the soccer games on tv look like the were shot with a big piece of film over the lens. it looks especially nuts at night. anyway.. I was "on the list" at a club for the first time last night.. this guy that I always dance with at tango knows people apparently. it was strange, I met a Chilean girl who studied abroad in Walker, MN. if I studied abroad and got put there I think I'd die. anyway.. going to Uruguay tomorrow, and Santiago de Chile next Thursday!!! I'm meeting up with Grace and we're going to go to Viña del Mar/Valporiaso for the weekend. and then to Mendoza for the next weekend. flying home on the 4th to take my midterms.. wahooooo. here are some random pictures from when I went to San Telmo last weekend.
